We are excited to share on October 29, 2024, at Astera Credit Union’s Special Meeting, it was announced that members voted in favor of merging with Michigan-based Adventure Credit Union. After months of hard work, we are thrilled to begin the next phase of this journey together – combining our two organizations for the benefit of members, employees, and communities. We are eager to begin pooling our resources and combining our membership and talented employees with Adventure Credit Union to be able to provide even more value now and into the future.
What happens next? As we work to fully integrate with Adventure CU, we will continue to keep you informed and updated about what is happening throughout the process.
- As we work to fully integrate our two credit unions, we are required to make sure members and the public know that Astera Credit Union and Adventure Credit Union are one legal entity. You will begin to see some of our signage and documents change, along with a few other things that will say “Astera Credit Union, a Division of Adventure Credit Union.”
- After the legal merger date of January 1, 2025, we will continue working to fully integrate our operations with Adventure CU with a goal of having our systems fully integrated by late 2025.
- As that time nears, members will receive any applicable information.
